I share this because I’m also interested in what the LDS church (my church) is saying about same sex marriages. Throughout my life I’ve had certain gay friends and acquaintances, I know they just want to be who they are, I honestly feel for them. Yet,I also feel very strong about the family. I’m a Christian, I’m a Mormon and believe in the traditional family with one husband, one wife and children. The LDS gospel (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), would not bend to majority vote. It’s simple and straightforward – it’s about following the teachings of Jesus Christ. This interview is about 10.38 min. with Elder Christofferson of the of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Michael Otterson. As they go over this somewhat touchy subject, they also talk a little on Polygamy which I thought was interesting also.
